Camtasia Guide

This is a definite handy site to be checking into for Camtasia help!

Holy Cow! Peter has assembled some great tips and very helpful advice, sites, and complete handiness for the use of Camtasia. I had to post this, Video is the running forefront of blogs and social networks today, Pod Casting in general really and you don’t want to miss out on all the fun with Camtasia if you are ready for it.

My good friend, Jim Cobb, The Google Man, uses Camtasia quite well indeed. I, of course, have gotten used to the Windows Movie Maker system and will be using that for the next few months until I get some additional time to learn what Camtasia has to offer 😉 But, like I said for those who are ready, here you go, the information is readily available and all in one stop to boot, get into Camtasia and let me know about your new videos when you get them up 🙂

WordPress Updates Sweet ;)

If you have not yet seen the new image uploader here at WordPress guys, coolies, it is quite clever of them 😉

“The Image Uploader — Now With Captions

WordPress bloggers love to share their photos and images with each other, so perhaps it shouldn’t have come as a surprise that when we removed the boring, old image icon that you wrote to us lamenting its disappearance.

But if you haven’t noticed already, there’s nothing to fear, for in its place is the Add an Image button in the Media Toolbar, which has been around for a bit but is now more robust than ever — making it the only thing you’ll need to add and organize photos.

Among its newest features is an easy-to-add caption tool. Just write your caption in the caption field before inserting an image and, voila, the caption displays below the photo inside a tasteful frame.” Read More:

Blogs and Social Networks Springing Up Like Mushrooms

Blogs and Social Networks Springing Up Like Mushrooms

Holy Cow! When Stevie and I first started reviewing Blogs and Social Networks about 2 years ago, the list was completable but quite daunting. With the speed of new sites popping up weekly, daily, no … hourly, the list of reviews is completely endless and impossible to secure by a Mother and Daughter team alone. This never ending stream of new sites, updated older ones, and Social Networks up and coming out of the horizon is nothing short of an emerging army.

This weeks show on BlogsandSocialNetworks.info will cover the highlights of the newness, changes and updates of some of the power house sites like MyBlogLog, MySpace, Facebook, and some of the Google Services, along with some news and updates from Wetpaint, Utterz, Twitter helper sites and more.

Donald Trump, Salmon Rushdie, Michael Bloomberg, Sam Gosling, with topics covering Africa, Globalization, Peace and Conflict, The Muslim World, Culture, Business, Science, and Politics. Enjoy Salmon Rushdies discussion of Machiavelli and how profound a human need it is to have your story told.

http://fora.tv/2008/06/18/A_Conversation_with_Salman_Rushdie

I was listening to Salmon Rushdie through FORA.tv speak about Machiavelli and the whole theory “shoot the messenger” rap Machiavelli got after he watched and observed power and wrote about power.

Machiavelli’s home town was Florence, Italy.

Salmon Rushdie was commenting how Machiavelli was not very Machiavellian 🙂

Machiavelli’s “The Prince” political expediency is placed above morality and the use of lies and sneakiness or craft and deceit to maintain authority and to carry out the rulers policies.

Machiavelli understood the nature of power.

The definition of Machiavellian- characterized by subtle or up-front cunning, deception, expediency, or dishonesty.

The profound human need of having their story told.

Take the time to listen to the need of a story heard 🙂
